What is electroless nickel Teflon plating?
DESU SHANGHAI electroless nickel iron flon coating (Ni-PTFE) is a coating in which electroless nickel plating is used as a matrix and PTFE fine particles are uniformly dispersed and co-deposited in this film. As a result, it is a composite coating that combines the wear resistance, uniformity and high dimensional accuracy of electroless nickel plating with Teflon's sliding and non-adhesive (mold release) properties.
Features of electroless nickel plated Teflon
PTFE has the properties of Teflon, it is self-lubricating, which effectively prevents bite and wear during sliding. In particular, depending on the conditions, sliding in an unlubricated state can be fully supported.
In addition, since the PTFE particles are evenly dispersed inside the coating, stable sliding properties can be maintained even if the surface layer is worn until the coating disappears. In addition, it has low friction, non-stick (mold release), water repellency, adhesion, high dimensional accuracy, antistatic and noise reduction, and the hardness of the coating can be selected from HV200 to 900. Its advantage is that it is harder than a regular Teflon coating and less likely to scratch.
